Maheshwari has done many businesses till now. Most of them failed, but he eventually made one of them successful. That is ImagesBazaar. But we would like to discuss his hustles and businesses right from the beginning. After his schooling, he joined his family’s business which was in Aluminum. However, that didn’t work out.

Then he joined a MLM company with a membership fees of Rs 5000. This was the time when Maheshwari thought of doing something big in life after seeing rich people on stage and witnessing their lifestyle. At the same time, he was doing fashion shows as a model in Kirorimal College, the same college where he dropped out later. Maheshwari worked for the MLM company for around 1 year. After the exit, he thought of making a liquid soap. The idea of making it by himself came after he saw a similar product while working for his previous MLM company. The cost of manufacturing it costed him Rs 5 while he used to sell it for Rs 10 – 15. Maheshwari began selling his soap to people and did not even spared her girlfriend at that time. He didn’t succeed in his soap business.

After the failure of liquid soap, Sandeep tried his hands on making portfolio. Initially, he did lot of free portfolios. Because of his high interest in photography, he soon was making around Rs 25K – 30K per month. But the desire to become rich led Sandeep to join another MLM company. The joining fees of that MLM company was Rs 70000. It was difficult for him to pay membership fees, therfore he borrowed it from his friends and relatives and even sold his camera for it. Within 11 months, Sandeep had reached a more than decent position in that MLM company and was making around Rs 1.5 Lakhs per month. But again after few months, he resigned as he wanted to build something of his own. His parents were not happy with his decision to resign suddenly and suggested Maheshwari to wait another 4 – 5 months. However, Maheshwari made an impulsive decision to quit.

Then he formed his own MLM company by forming a partnership with three friends. Maheshari claimed that although the company made profits, but he did not had single penny after it got closed down due to differences with the partner.

After his MLM venture, he wrote his own book on Network Marketing. That didn’t do well either. So he got back to making portfolios which he used to do earlier before joining his second MLM company. He purchased the camera and all the other accessories again and started doing photography i.e. making portfolios at his house only. Maheshwari opines that his photography venture was sailing smoothly and his agency had become one of the top agencies in Delhi but the desire to scale his business was itching in him.

He then started ImagesBazaar in 2005, which initially was not performing well due to lack of software and coding problems. Maheshwari revamped the site and acquired the necessary IT skills for the smooth functioning of the website. The site never looked back and kept on doing well year after year. ImagesBazaar made Sandeep Maheshwari extremely wealthy.

In one of the videos in 2023, Maheshwari hinted that his business of ImagesBazaar fetches him close to Rs 1 crore per month and that his YouTube channel could fetch him more money if he turns on the ads. If we calculate Maheshwari’s earnings for the last 18 years only from Images Bazaar, the approximate earnings till now would easily surpass 100 crores. And this is only from ImagesBazaar income. There is likely to be earnings from other resources as well.

Controversial Statements given by Sandeep Maheshwari

Deleted controversial video “Fake guru Alert..”

On 9th of February, Maheshwari uploaded a video titled as “Fake Guru Alert…..” and opined that certain fake gurus are influencing the youth of the country by creating artificial problems. While he did not took the name of any guru, prima facie it appeared that the fake guru was being referred to the likes of Acharya Prashant who preaches for singlehood for both men and women. Prashant who is an advait teacher, is unmarried and in his late forties.

After few hours, the video was unavailable and was made private. This is one of the rarest occasions when Maheshwari has made his video private.

Called Vivek Bindra’s business a Scam

In one of Sandeep Maheshwari’s sessions, two students alleged that a big Youtuber (referring to Vivek Bindra) runs a motivational cum business consultancy that charges huge money from the masses. The students alleged that the courses offered by such Youtubers do not have high value.

Dig from Amit Sangwan

Amit Sangwan, a self-proclaimed number one clarity giver, taunted Maheshwari for his famous phrase “Aasaan Hai Aasaan Hai” meaning “Its easy Its easy”. Sangwan took a dig at it and said that nothing is easy in life and that Maheshwari has stopped using phrases after the likes of Sangwan have arrived on YouTube.

Maheshwari, in one of his posts from 2023 revealed that he has been suffering from depression for the last three years and is taking medicines. However, after a few days, he confirmed that he was fine by then.
