There is a good news for the Hera Pheri 3 fans. Earlier, it was being reported that the film was on hold because of Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit from the franchise, and there were rumors that some other actor will be playing the iconic Babu Rao role in the third part.
After nearly a month of speculations of legal battle between Akshay Kumar’s film production and Paresh Rawal, the veteran actor himself has revealed in an interview that the film is not only back on track but he himself will be reprising his role along with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.
We had earlier covered the fan’s comments where many opinioned that Paresh Rawal’s exit from the franchise and all that legal scuffle between him and Akshay Kumar was not genuine and was purely done from the PR point of view.
And now, with Paresh Rawal’s revelation about his return, it makes the rumors even stronger that whether all of that scuffle between was really there in the first place?
Responding to “what the controversy was” in his interview with The Himanshu Mehta Show, the most interesting thing that Paresh Rawal said was that there was no such a problem and that there was only “fine-tuning” which was required.
“There is no controversy. What happens is, for me, it’s like—, when something is so loved by people, then we have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility towards the audience because the audience gives you so much love. You can’t take things for granted, you have to work hard and give it to them. So for me, it’s like—let everyone come together, work together. That’s all, nothing else. It really, nothing actually happened. It is all resolved now. Interviewer:- Oh wonderful, so it’s coming on screen? Yes, yes. It was going to come earlier as well, but what happens is, we had to fine-tune each other a little.”
— Paresh Rawal said in the interview
It raises question as when there was a legal scuffle between the two parties, can the reason for all of that could be called merely as “fine-tuning” only?

It was evidently clear from the start that the film is unlikely to go on floors without Paresh Rawal. Fans wouldn’t have accepted a replaced actor. What is even more interesting is the fact that all this Behind the Scenes trouble came into spotlight almost at a time when Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal were shooting in lead roles for another movie “Bhoot Bangla”. And even a bigger irony is that the “Bhoot Bangla” movie is being directed by PriyaDarshan!
So, the key players of the Hera Pheri 3 film were already working in coordination for another project, yet faced significant challenges in aligning their vision for “Hera Pheri 3”! On top of that, Suniel Shetty, a lead actor from the franchise gives his interview to a reputed media housel and talks about the ongoing issue when the matter was making headlines. How often does something like that happen?
A publishing media by the name “The Philox” claimed almost a month ago that the issues were resolved. Fans commented on social medias that all of this was merely a PR Stunt and nothing major of that sort of trouble between the two.
There are also speculations that Paresh Rawal will be paid even a bigger amount than which was promised to him earlier i.e. Rs 15 crores. Now that the movie is all hyped, it is likely to attract a significant Box Office revenue on the 1st and 2nd day of release. But it will be interesting to see whether all this hype would be worth or not. Remember that Hera Pheri 2 (Phir Hera Pheri) was a major dissappointment in script writing and was a financial success only because of the hype created by its prequel.
