Very recently, Raghu and Rajeev, the former duo-judge of the controversial TV show MTV Roadies, were in chat with the former contestant Devarshi Patel, who participated in Roadies Season 6 2008.
Devarshi was getting interviewed again by Raghu Ram and Rajeev Lakshman, this time on Youtube.
The previous audition, around 17 years ago, went extremely viral due to Devarshi’s funny nature, weird habits and gimmicks.
This time, the environment was completely different. Unlike Roadies show, where Raghu and Rajeev used to grill the contestants, they showed their softer and funnier side this time and enjoyed Devarshi’s company.
Devarshi, with a very contrasting appearance from the Roadies time, didn’t leave any effort to entertain the duo and even danced on the song Rock On which he sang in his 2008 audition also.
One of the questions that Raghu and Rajeev asked from Devarshi was that whether he felt that he was mocked or belittled after his appearance on Roadies 6, to which Devarshi gave a simple answer that he ignores the haters.
Raghu: I want to ask you something. Obviously, as far as I know, you got a lot of attention after Roadies.
Rajiv: Attention… and probably a bit of hate too, I’m sure.
Raghu: A lot of people must have mocked you, right?
Devarshi: I have a simple one-word answer for the haters — ignorance.
Just don’t pay attention. Live your own life.

I remember how Devarshi got eliminated and he got an earring from Raghu, Rajiv and Rannvijay as he volunteered to lose the coffin task, thinking that doing so might give him an immunity as the show has a history of giving twists and surprise immunity to contestants at time, who get voted for elimination.
In the 2008 audition episode, the judges had a hard time in hiding their laughter when Devarshi mimicked Amitabh Bacchan from ‘Sarkar’ movie.
Married to a “Supporting Wife”
Devarshi also revealed that he is married and that his wife is extremely supportive of him and that she sees a good human being in him. Devarshi opined that he is quite active on Instagram and he claimed that one of his dance video went viral on Instagram and that it crossed a million views. The episode was heartwarming because it brought nostalgia from the time of Roadies when Raghu and Rajeev were judges.
