A video is going viral on social media where a wife is expressing her gratitude for the Indian government for evacuating her from the recent war conflict area of Iran which is under counter-attack by Israel.

However, when the man was asked about the opinion on the recent conditions in Iran, he says that there wasn’t a problem in Iran too except the connectivity issue and that he believes that dying there would have been a sort of martyrdom for the wife and people.

The woman revealed that they belong to Uttar Pradesh and had been living in Delhi due to the job of her spouse. She went to Iran on the 3rd of June and had plans to go to Iraq on the 17th but got cancelled as both Iran and Israel had engaged in war by that time.

As per the woman, Internet connectivity has become extremely worse in Iran and that she was able to inform her husband only after her departure. The woman couldn’t thank the Indian government enough for evacuating her and other stranded Indians.

“We contacted the government and embassy through email. They helped us and that’s how we have returned back. The network there was extremely slow and we weren’t able to contact anyone. We thank the Indian government with all our gratitude for evacuating us so safely. We faced problems at the border but after that, the arrangements were very good and we can only thank them for helping us. ” The wife said to ABP Ganga Reporter.

However, the husband had a different take. He opinioned that “there wasn’t any problem in Iran except the connectivity”

He cites Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei that “Death is inevitable and there is no better thing than martyrdom. It is better to die in matryrdom rather than on bed.”

At the time when the man was preaching about glory in martyrdom, his wife could be seen hiding her anxiousness behind a sublte smile and then eventually went away from the camera to meet her relatives who were glad that she has come back alive.

The man even went on to give a bold claim that “people who have returned here from Iran sincerely believe that it would have been better to die there in martyrdom rather than coming here.”

The video has garnered many comments on Youtube where people are mostly bashing her husband for not being grateful to the Indian government. Many believe that the people like her husband should be sent on the front line to fight against terrorists.
