Shyam Meera Singh was born in 1995 in Mathura and entered the field of journalism in 2018. His father works in the water department of Uttar Pradesh state. He has three siblings. Shyam feels bad about the life that her sisters are having. He feels bad that they got married at a young age and have not seen a good life. Source
On Relationship with Father: – He is extremely close to his mother while he believes that his father has been far from an ideal husband. Shyam revealed that his mother was married at a very young age of 13 -14 and that she has not enjoyed a great life as she has always spent her time taking care of his father. Ref.

Educational Qualifications And Career: – After completing his graduation in B.Sc Mathematics from Mathura, he came to Delhi in 2015 to prepare for Civil Service exams. For some reason, he enrolled in journalism in IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass communication and graduated in 2017 – 2018. Ref. He has worked for Josh Talks, ETV Bharat, Economic Times, and finally for Aajtak from where he was terminated. Ref.
Termination From Aajtak: – In 2020, he was terminated from Aajtak for his tweets where he said that Narendra Modi is a shameless prime minister. Shyam Meera Singh stated in an interview that he was upset on how the Prime Minister himself was violating the lockdown restrictions Ref. through his election rallies in Bengal during Covid while at the same time he was urging citizens to stay at home and follow lockdown protocols. He was coaxed by a senior to tender an apology to save his job but Shyam declined.
Shyam Meera Singh real name : – In a podcast, he indicated that his real name is indeed Shyam Meera Singh and not Sultan as per rumors by netizens on social media. As far as religion is concerned, he identifies himself as Hindu. He even opines that he is pro-hindu and not pro-hindu as often perceived by his critics.
Shyam says that he has had lot of difference in opinions with his Dad on Hindu and Muslim, to the extent that his dad had called him a traitor to the country.

He got engaged to Dr. Devanjali Pajai on 16th Jan 2025. His soon to be wife is a Dentist. He jokingly states that his while his girlfriend with whom he is looking to get married, is quite dominating abut he also states that her girlfriend has proven to be right in many of the things which he used to disagree with earlier on.
