Sushant Sinha is a well-known Indian journalist who has worked in many media companies. He is currently working with Times Now Navbharat and also runs a Youtube channel where he gives his views on trending topics. He is known for his unfiltered opinions, especially of political parties other than BJP.
Family and Upbringing
Not much is known about Sushant Sinha’s family. He lost his father at a very young age and his mother raised him and his elder sister. Her mother had a government job. The childhood was very difficult because of his family’s financial struggle. He passed out from St. Xaviers School in 1999.
Career in Journalism
Sushant says that he was loved consuming news even as a child. And therefore, his mother encouraged him to make a livelihood through journalism.
He had worked in radios also before starting his journalism career in 2001 with a local channel. After working there for few eyars, he moved to Delhi to work with “Jain TV” with whom he worked for nearly 5 years before moving to NDTV.
Working in NDTV : – Sinha says that his stint with NDTV was a mixture of up and down. While he got along with many people, he also faced constraints and obstacles regarding what and what he can say on television. He opined that anyone who worked against the eco-system and beliefs of NDTV, suffered.
There was a time when tensions arose between him and Ravish Kumar because he had revealed Ravish’s salary with the people working in NDTV. As per Sushant, Ravish was drawing a salary of Rs 8 lakhs per month but didn’t want that information to be known in public because it would appear contrary to the image that Ravish portrays i.e. a journalist who talks about poor people.
In 2005, he worked as an anchor on Live India. Currently he is working with Times Now Navbharat, the hindi edition of Times Now.

Sushant Sinha is married to Menka Singh . The couple tied the knot on 10th December but the year of their marriage is not officially stated anywhere. The couple are blessed with two children.
