Shubhankar Mishra is a former news anchor who get recognition mainly through his journalisitic career with Tv9 Bharatvarsh and Aajtak. He was born on 10th April 1993 in Gondor, Uttar Pradesh. He resigned from Aajtak in late 2023 and now runs his own Youtube channel on trending topics.
Education
Shubhankar Mishra during a meeting with Khan sir revealed that he was an ordinary student in school and college. He completed his Mechanical Engineering in 2015 from Galgotias University in Uttar Pradesh. He reveals that his B.Tech education costed nearly Rs 10 lakhs which is why his father was against his wish to make career in totally different field i.e. of journalism.
He revealed that he also tried to crack the government exams. He used to be a last bencher for 2 – 3 years during his preparation for government exams and he admits that he didn’t like that phase of his life.
Family Life & Growing Up
During a podcast with Varun Dhawan, Shubhnkar Mishra revealed that he was single at that time and that he faced heartbreaks on multiple occasions.
TV Journalist Career and Leaving Aajtak
Shubhankar reveals that he used to survive on Rs 10000 per month from his father at the starting of his career. He started his TV journalistic career with India News in 2015 and ended with Aajtak in 2023.

His father was against him leaving Aajtak. He even advised Shubhankar to seriously consider getting married while he was still with Aaj Tak, because he feared that marriage proposals might stop coming if he is not working with a TV channel anymore.
His relative requested him not to inform the viewers on social media about his resignation as he may not receive the same level of preferential treatment from a certain doctor—presumably at a government hospital—if his status as a prominent news anchor were no longer known.
As per Shubhankar, he was not fired from Aaj Tak but left voluntarily despite growing popularity because he wanted to try journalism through his own way.

After his goodbye to Aajtak, Shubhankar started his own Youtube channels to do journalism. His channels mainly talks on trending topics and he also brings prominent personalities on his podcasts.
