Shivender Pratap Singh Kanwar is a fourth generation Indian army officer. After serving in Para Special Forces for nearly 20 years, he retired from the post of colonel.
Family, Education and Career
He is the fourth generation from his family who joined army. You will be surprised to know that his great-grandfafther served the British army Ref.. Shivender Kanwar was not a studious child and had a strong inclination towards outdoor sports Ref.. In his childhood, he dreamt of becoming a cricketer.
He graduated in BA, History and Economics from the Kurukshetra University Ref..
Career in Army: – Clearing the SSB wasn’t easy for Shivender Pratap Singh Kanwar. He finally cleared it in the third attempt Ref.. During his army career, he has played a major role in cross-border missions, including clandestine ops involving deep penetration, intelligence gathering, and retaliation strikes.
Career Post Army-Life
After resigning from Army, Shivender Kanwar was certain that he didn’t wanted a 9 – 5 job. In order to market himself better, he did a course in executive protection from London before starting his own security agency which provides close Protection Services to clients Ref.. He also provide self-defensive courses.
