Latest News: – Saloni Khanna is one of the well-known UPSC mock interviewers in India along with Dr. Vijender Singh Chauhan. She is currently an assistant professor of Economics Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi.
She was born in a Punjabi family. Students often talk about her eye color and a news reporter one time asked Saloni whether her eye color is real, to which she replied that it is indeed natural and that she inherited those eyes from her mother. Saloni opines that her mother’s eyes are extremely beautiful.
She belongs to a well to do family now after her marriage but was from a middle class family. Her father used to work in a bank.

Saloni is known to give unfiltered and raw opinions about the life of a civil aspirant. She believes that there is an extreme lack of merit-based reward in civil services and that people with lethargic attitude also get promotion.

While not much information is known about her husband, Saloni revealed in an interview that her husband belongs to the Sindhi community . Her husband is a civil servant as per her interview on News Tak.
Saloni also revealed that her husband used to study for nearly 16 hours in a day and that worked extremely hard to clear the UPSC exam in one go. She is of the view that coaching may be an aid but it is not needed to clear the UPSC exam. The couple are blessed with a son named Abeer. Abeer even has an Instagram account handled by her mother.
