Recently a shocking news emerged that former badminton star Saina Nehwal has announced her separation from husband Parupalli Kashyap after seven years of marriage.

The news comes as a big surprise because the duo had known each other for nearly 15 years and had dated for 13 years.

What is even more surprising is that the couple had always appeared joyful and in sync, often seen together in interviews and public appearances sharing hearty laughs and admiration for each other.

Both Sania and Parupalli had been posting pictures/videos on Instagram without each other for quite some time. Sania last shared a photo/video along with her husband in April 2025 while Parupalli’s instagram had posted it in March 2025 indicating cracks in the marriage.
