In a recent interview around two weeks ago with Instant Bollywood, Poonam Pandey opened up about her struggle in the industry and how she has managed to work due to the support from her mother and sister despite criticism from the outside world.
Poonam recently sat down with Instant Bollywood but this time there was a pleasant surprise as her mom was also there in the conversation. Poonam’s mother talked about the struggles in raising the children and how she give tit to tat to people who would criticise Poonam Pandey.

Interestingly, Poonam’ mother was asked about the type of guy she would want for her daughter and she indicated that the guy should not be from the industry. She opined that she wants a normal salary working guy for her daughter but believes that Poonam may not want to settle down with such individual. Poonam replied later that she is ok in settling down with a normal person like the one which her mother is wanting.
Interestingly, Poonam clarified again that she wasn’t married earlier to Sam Bombay but was only engaged. She opined that she wants a normal guy and is not looking specifically for someone rich and influential to marry and that she would be okay if the guy makes lesser money than her. Poonam emphasized that loyalty matters more than being wealthy.
“100% — If I feel someone is genuinely loyal, gentle, and caring, I will definitely give him a chance.”
“What’s money? Everyone’s earning these days. But loyalty — that’s something you rarely find nowadays.”
“Especially in this industry — it’s like a buffet out there. You’ll find apps and abs everywhere, but loyalty and genuine care? That’s rare.”
