While Milind has always been presented as a smart, handsome and likeable personality in the advertisements, his latest ad shows him with bald looks but to spread a good message.
Milind recently shot an advertisment for Centre For Sight Eye Institute and Hospitals to spread the importance of eye fitness. The campaign shows Milind in totally contrasting look compared to his real life. Bald, grey beard, pot belly with spectacles. But people become speechless when he starts doing pull ups effortlessly. Finally Milind says, “When you don’t see clearly, you make mistakes and I don’t let age blur my vision. Don’t compromise on the vision. Trust the Expert.”

Milind Soman is a fitness icon who needs no introduction. The former model and actor started his modelling career in 80s and got extremely famous from the Made In India song. Recently, while speaking on a podcast with Find your Ultra, he revealed as to why he choose the modelling career despite having an educational degree.
For the people who didn’t know, Milind Soman actually has an engineering degree. Infact, his family comes from rich educational background. Both of his parents are scientists and his father used to work in Bhabha Atomic Research Center. If we talk about his grandparents, they were doctors and later taught medicine.
Speaking on why he choose the modelling career, Milind himself revealed that money was a huge motivating factor.
He opined that his family wasn’t rich or even well of. In fact, Milind’s father’s salary was Rs 15,000 despite being a scientist at BARC whereas he started his modelling career with an assignment that paid him Rs 50,000 for two hour photoshoot.
Models make a lot of money for nothing and I’ll just do it. I can’t say no to that.

His parents were hesitant about Milind stepping into the modelling industry but they did not objected him. In fact, on occasion, Milind’s mother expressed surprise as to why women find his son attractive.
During the same podcast, Milind’s wife Ankita Konwar stated that she was in depression (for three years) for quite a long period of time however, people wouldn’t had been able to see that if they would have met her. During her cabin crew executive career, she used to occasionally indulge in alcohol. While she always indulged in moderation, her perspective towards it changed when her father died who used to indulge in bad diet and alcohol (although in moderation), the combo of which took a toll on his diabetes. He also suffered kidney failure.
I will be sober for four years in this December.
