Back in 2019, Manu had a tiff with the BJP leader Anil Vij, who was the Haryana Minister at that time. Bhaker had secured a gold medal at the Youth Olympics back in 2018. The BJP Haryana Minister had promised Rs 2 crore gift To Bhaker at that time. Manu took to social media and asked whether the announcement of 2 Crore prize money was indeed true or “Jumla”. Replying to the tweet, the minister said that Manu shouldn’t have taken to public domain to raise the matter.

The minister confirmed in the tweet that Bhaker will get Rs 2 crore prize money as promised by him.
