Would you be surprised if a bollywood celebrity would say that looks don’t matter so much in films? Aspiring actors often believe that looks are the primary criteria to have a successful career. However, as per Ananya Panday, looks don’t matter so much.

In a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Ananya Panday was asked whats the worst advice she has ever received (related to acting career) to which she replied the following.

“I think people have a lot of opinions on how you should look or you know, its like put on weight, lose weight. These things don’t matter. I think people put too much pressure on Baal Aisi Karo (Keep hair like this), color karo (do hair color), naak fix karo (fix your nose), lips bade karo (Increase the size of your lips), kamar choti kari (slim down). They put too much pressure on that especially on women and I feel like that it doesn’t matter. It really doesn’t matter. So that’s something I don’t like. “

The host asked her that how she believes that looks doesn’t matter to which she replied that she has seen it not matter.

“Because I have seen it not matter. I don’t think anyone looks at their favourite actor on screen who are giving a powerful performance and they are thinking that arey uski naak bahut badi hai, choti honi chahiye. I don’t think anyone is thinking that. It doesn’t matter.”

Raj Shamani then added to the conversation that a lot of actors have confessed to him that they changed their physical look too much because everyone around them told them that these things matter. However, later on the actors realized that these things don’t matter.

I have not done anything : Ananya Panday

Continuing the conversation that looks don’t matter so much, the daughter of Chunkey and Bhawna Panday said that she hasn’t done any plastic surgery to her face. However, the thing that concerned her the most was the weight when she started her career.

We took a look at the reddit section where there was discussion about the actresses’s nose appearance and many opiniated that Ananya may have undergone a rhinoplasty at some point of time.
