Kunickaa Sadanand is known for being an actress, a social activist and even as a lawyer. Her acting career started in the late 1980s and she has acted in more than 100 films till now. She is also a trained dancer in Bharat Natyam and in Singing.
While Kunickaa has always been active in some or the other work, she started trending on Internet recently when she talked about the extra-marital affair with Kumar Sanu during a podcast with Siddharth Kannan.
Family, Growing up & Education
Kunickaa’s dad was in the Air force. His name was Air vice Marshall Manjunath Sadanand. She was the eldest of the five siblings. Her Dad was quite strict and it was mandatory for everyone to be at dinner table on time.
On one occasion, Kunickaa had gone for a movie but wasn’t able to make it back to home on time. Consequently, she spent the night outside of the house, on the verandah as a punishment by her Dad.
During a podcast, Kunickaa revealed that her mother studied Homeopathy so that she could give medicines to the needy. She credits her mother from whom she inherited the desire to do social activism.

Dating Life and Marital Affairs
Kunickaa revealed that her first crush was a pilot officer whom she used to met during the family’s picnic outing. Kunickaa was quite young as compared to her crush who was 22 years old at that time. As per Kunickaa, there was never any romantic interaction between the two and Kunickaa thought it to be one-sided crush but later on Kunickaa’s father told her that the pilot officer had asked for her hand. After an year, the pilot unfortunately passed away in the crash of a fighter plane.
Kunickaa was in relationship with Sunil Sikand, the son of legendary actor Pran. As per Kunickaa, Sunil was extremely possessive and therefore the relationship didn’t lasted for more than 4 and a half years. But she has no regrets with any of her exes. Recalling the good times, Kunickaa says that Sunil was the guarantor of her loan for her first car.
