Gunjan Taneja is well-known content creator in the health and fitness niche. The guests who frequently appear on her channel are primarily from the health fraternity, including doctors, fitness trainers, and other wellness professionals.
In an interview, Gunjan revealed that she had a difficult childhood because of her health. She used to be obese and kids would often make fun of her. Determined to improve her health, she learned about nutrition and fitness and transformed herself within a span of 3 months. Gunjan Taneja previously worked in the IT sector as a software developer before becoming content creator in the health sector.
She was chubby at the time of her marriage and a remark from her in law’s relative triggered her to improve her health.
Gunjan Taneja’s Husband
Gunjan Taneja is married to Himeesh Madaan, who is an author, enterpreneur and a mindset coach. The couple started dating in 2011 and got married in 2015.
Talking about her love story, Himeesh stated the duo met for the first time in 2010 during a training workshop and felt connected. The friendship continued till 2013 after talks of marriage began.
In an interview stated that he never wanted to get married in the first place. However, his perception changed after being in friendship with Gunjan Taneja.
Himeesh warned Gunjan that his career may not yield significant results and whether she is ready to live an economic-budgeted life. Gunjan supported him.
Himeesh recalls the struggling time of the first few years of their marriage where they faced financial difficulty however, things eventually improved.
In a video, Himeesh revealed that he faced many challenges, mainly from family’s financial struggles. His family used to have a thriving business in Jalandhar but they lost everything. So dire was their situation that Himeesh would even used to sell Jaljeera water on streets.
He previously worked as Pizza Boy delivery and later on worked in Jalandhar’s travel agency. A business he started failed, after which he joined a trainer job in Larsen and Toubro.
Gunjan’s husband used to work from 2006 – 2010 in sales department of the airline industry. He started pursuing his passion of motivational speaker and trainer in 2010 through his company Himeesh Madaan Training Solutions. He did his education from Delhi University and his schooling from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School.
Gunjan Taneja Work and Career
Gunjan did her education in IT engineering in 2011 from Maharshi Dayanand University, Haryana, Rohtak and worked in companies like Syntel and Adobe in technical roles. She used to work a regular 9 – 5 job and would simultenaously create health related videos in 2019 as hobby. When her channel started to gain traction, she eventually resigned from her corporate job in 2019 to fully focus on her content creation.
