Sahil is a Youtuber from India who is an Ex-Muslim. Before becoming an atheist, his name was Nissar Ahmed Sheikh. He is believed to be from Mumbai and 36 years old at the time of interview with IndiaTV in 2023. He left Islam at the time of Covid in India i.e. around 2020.
Nissar revealed in an interview that after leaving Islam, he labelled his name as “Ex Indian Muslim” which was also the name of his Youtube channel then but realized that he needs to adopt a name in order for people to refer him and thats when he adopted the name Sahil.
He used to be a follower of Zakir Naik, who is largely perceived amongst muslims as the preacher of Islam through his TV and digital channels.
Sahil strongly opines on his channel that there are several flaws in Islam religion and he often invites muslim people only for discussion.
Ex-Muslim Sahil along with Ex-Muslim Sameer, Adam Seeker (Ex-Muslim from Pakistan) and Nazia Elahi Khan (Sanatani) are the most-known Ex-Muslims who regularly create content alleging that there are many flaws in Islam religion.

Sahil’s Youtube channel was banned by Youtube in 2023. While the exact reasons of the ban are not known, many believe that Sahil’s Youtube content spreads hatred and misconceptions about Islam religion. He then started a new youtube channel which again got banned by youtube. His current working Youtube channel is Ex Muslim Sahil Uncensored.
