Deepak Sharma is a well-known jailor who is currently posted at Mandoli Jail, which is a part of Tihar Jail complex in Delhi. He got famous on Youtube where he often disclosed things about the various aspects of his professional life. He also catches eye balls for his physique which he built to compete in body building.

His exact date of birth is not known but sources on internet says that he was born in 1989. He is approxmiately 5 feet 11 inches in height while his chest and biceps size is 48 inches and 19 inches respectively. A Youtube video claims that Deepak Sharma underwent PRP therapy for hair loss from their clinic.

Family

As per him, he was born in a lower middle class family and originally belongs to Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh.

His father worked as lineman in electrical department of Delhi Electric Supply Undertaking. His family consists of Father, Mother, an Elder brother and three sisters. His elder brother is a TGT English teacher and his sister is also a government teacher.

Education, Police Career and Social Media Journey

He admits that he was quite studious . As per his FB profile, he completed his schooling (class 1 to 10th) from Canterbury Public School, Yamuna Vihar. For Graduation, he enrolled in Ramjas College to do his bachelor of Arts/Education (Secondary).

His hard work during and after graduation paid off and he got selected in 6- 7 government roles of different sectors after nearly two years of preparation. He started his career as Assistant Superintendent Jail in 2009.

Although his primary goal was not to enter the police field he eventually joined it at the age of 21. Many people may not know but he got selected in Indian AirForce also in the final year of his graduation.

He also has a gym which he started at the age of 27. While Deepak looks extremely well-built now there was a time when he had a skinny body till 2013 after which he decided to join gym.

He also participated in body building competition of Mr. Delhi in 2016. He competed in many body building competitions and has accumulated almost 8 medals till now.

Deepak reveals that the press got interested in him and published articles and photos when he was transferred to Tihar jail where the accused of Nirbhaya Case were lodged. Seeing that he was starting to get recognised by the media, his friends suggested him to start his social media presence which eventually got good response.

He got approached by fitness influencer Sahil Khan. The momentum kept on building and one day Deepak participated in a reality show India’s Ultimate Warrior which was hosted by Vidyut Jaamwal with Akshay Kumar as guest apperance.

His Earnings from Other sources? : – Many people would have curiosity that Deepak Sharma must be earning plenty from sources other than his job. Deepak opined during the podcast with Shubhankar Mishra that he never receives any monetary compensation from any of his other work. Instead he gets compensation for e.g. his dietary requirements like protein powder and other items were provided by the brand when he was working with Sahil Khan’s brand deal.

Income: – While he did not disclosed his salary, he indicated in an interview that the salary of a jailor is around Rs 1 Lakh per month.

He was asked whether he has been thinking about transitioning into a film career from his police profession. Interestingly, he expressed dissappointment during a 2023 podcast as people mainly cast him in projects as a police officer. Deepak hinted he may prefer diverse roles on camera. He also expressed gratitude for the police career due to which he gets the fame, limelight and other opportunities to work.

Girlfriend and Wife

Deepak Sharma is married and has two sons. While its not clear whether he ever dated in his school or college time, he however revealed that he was extremely skinny at that time. One time, he tried Salman Khan’s Tere Naam hairstyle which made him look more like a pockettheif rather than a hero.

Deepak Sharma Controversies

A report in Dainik Jagran opines that Deepak Sharma has many luxury cars and that one time he was seeking votes for a particular party. The report also says that Deepak Sharma has not been held accountable for making money outside his government job because of his power and connections.

Pistol Waiving Controversy: – He was suspended from his duty after a video emerged that he was dancing and waving pistol at a wedding party on 8th August 2024. Sources from the media opined that multiple rounds were fired as celebration but wasn’t captured on camera.
