The deadlock over Champions Trophy hosting is about to end on 1st December 2025 and from numerous sources it appears that Hybrid model will come out as the solution along with special conditions that Pakistan would be granted in favor of such as not playing India in India in the future ICC events.

It is understood that PCB is likely to be compensated heavily in case it agrees to Hybrid Model however for many, it is mystery to understand as to why Pakistan is hell-bent on hosting the Champions Trophy even when they are almost assured of receiving good compensation for agreeing to Hybrid Model.
