More plastic surgery is now being done in India than ever. With so much focus on Instagram perfect photo appearances, more and more people are opting for cosmetic surgeries and it is the celebrities who are always under the spotlight. Recently, Apoorva Mukhija talked on Khushi Kapoor’s nose job.
She recently gave an interview and opened up on many aspects of her life, especially her equation with her father and her views on plastic surgery involving celebrity kids like Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
One of the interesting points Apoorva highlighted was how trolls have severely targeted Khushi Kapoor’s neck and Ibrahim Ali’s nose. Apoorva emphasized that such harsh criticism can deeply affect a person’s mental peace. In fact, she pointed out that under such pressure, even the most sane person may feel pressured to undergo knife.
When Naadaniya was released, Redditors mainly targetted Ibrahim Ali Khan for his big nose while they criticized Khushi Kapoor for her alleged nose job, clearly indicating that whether real or cosmetic appearance, no version can be ever good enough for them.
Apoorva also indicated that Khushi Kapoor got a nose job along with some procedures and also stated what made the actress went under the knife.
“Khushi Kapoor did whatever she did to her and I don’t know if she like did anything to her face and I don’t want to comment on it. She is a really fucking beautiful person inside out. But she did that because you are all obsessed with them.”
In one of the interviews, Khushi Kapoor had admitted that she had gotten a nose job and lip fillers and that getting it done shouldn’t be a “Big Deal”
Apoorva discussed about the negativity that people throw at star kids especially for being served a silver platter.
She held the audience partly responsible for this toxic culture—stating that it’s the public attention that gives visibility to the nepokids and that such amount of attention only allows them to get more visibility through papparazi, films or advertisements.
Although Apoorva got to work with Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan where she played the role of Rhea in Naadaniya but she may have exaggerated her compliment on Khushi Kapoor when she opinioned that “She has the best work ethic I have ever seen. She is one of the sweetest, kindest people who will show an hour early to set. She will make sure that she is respectful and kind.”
The Rebel Kid was in trouble over the last few months for her participation in the controversial “India’s Got Latent”.
