Is Diljit Dosanjh secretly married with a child? Why did Mika Singh suddenly reveal this bombshell just a day before the release of Sardarji 3?

Its often speculated whether Diljit is married and does he have a child? These days, the singer is in trending news and due to wrong reasons as his movie’s release date is approaching. The film stars a Pakistani actress Hania Amir.

Now, in a recent conversation with India Today, singer Mika Singh revealed that Diljit Dosanjh is not only married but also has a son who is around 10–12 years old.

Mika not only criticized Diljit for not keeping the sentiments of the nation above his movie business but also took sharp jabs at the singer for keeping details about his family (wife and children) under wraps, arguing that as a public figure admired not just in Punjab but across India and internationally, he had a responsibility to be more transparent.

Mika made this revelation while talking to India Today on the controversy surrounding Diljit’s upcoming film Sardarji 3.

The film, which is currently banned from release in India, is still scheduled for an overseas release on 27th June including in Pakistan—a decision that is receiving widespread criticism.

Many criticis including Mika Singh are left puzzled for roping in a Pakistani actress in the Sardarji 3 despite no shortage of talent and beauty in Punjab and across India.

The Indian fans are upset because of the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Amir, who has previously criticized India for its counter-attack measures during Operation Sindoor following the Pahalgam attack. Many netizens have also expressed concern on the silence of Diljit and film makers on Hania Amir’s criticism of India during Op sindoor.

Mika has urged Diljit to consider postponing the release altogether in light of the growing backlash and has warned that by being silent on the matter and by going ahead with the movie release, there could be a dent in the singer’s overall popularity.

A Calculated Move?

Fans on social media are expressing the view that Diljit Dosanjh deliberately casted a Pakistani actress in Sardarji 3, despite fully aware that the relations between India and Pakistan are probably at their lowest and that there will be potential backlash if the movie is made.

A Reddit post has further fueled the discussion by revealing that Diljit is not just the lead actor but also a co-producer of the film—suggesting he had significant decision-making power and was fully informed of the consequences.

This has led to speculation over his motives—was this a calculated move to gain attention, or simply a misjudgment?

It is particularly surprising that a country like Pakistan has approved the release of this film after clearance from its Central Board of Film Censors.

What makes this even more unusual is the fact that no Bollywood or Indian films have been officially released in Pakistan for a long time—especially following India’s counter-attack operations in Pahalgam.
