Kunika has always been known as someone who does not shy away from revealing details about her relationships. The bold and beautiful actress became trending ever since she disclosed about her relationship with married singer Kumar Sanu.
In many podcasts, Kunika has stated that she does not harbour any grudge for any of her ex-lovers. In fact, she is on good terms with all of them and stays in touch with them as a friend and confidant.
When she came into the industry, she met Raj Kapoor of R K Studios who advised her to grab any opportunity and not to be too fussy about landing only lead roles. He suggested that let fate decide on when she will start getting lead roles.
She revealed that there was a time when a hero of a movie rejected her when she auditioned for the role of main heroine. In fact, she says that even today male lead actors have a huge say in choosing the heroine for the movie.
While she may have wanted the role desperately, she indicated that it wasn’t the straight forward thing for her, especially if she was cast at the last moment. In one instance, she revealed that if she was offered a role in the movie at the last moment, she would often get in touch with the heroine who had left the role in between and would ask the reason for it. On certain occasions, the replaced heroine would confide to Kunika that they were evicted after two days of shoot and did not even received the compensation. Kunika upon landing that role, would then often asked the film producers to provide the compensation of the replaced heroine.

Ever since Kunika revealed in an interview about her relationship with Kumar Sanu, people have been curious to know more about her, especially about her dating life in the past as Kunika was extremely attractive in her younger days. In a recent interview, Kunika was asked about her thought process while dating the men she did and whether she thought about a future with them.
To which the bold and beautiful actress replied that she never thought of a one night stand, flings or friends with benefits with anyone and that her desire was always to create some future with the men she dated. While her relationships may not have gone through the desired journey, she expressed gratitude of all the good memories from her relationships.

On Udit Narayan Kiss
Kunika during the interview stated Udit Narayan made a mistake by kissing at the wrong place of the female fan. She opined that instead of kissing at the lips, he should have kissed at the cheeks. However, she clarified that the women was also wrong who kissed Udit Narayan at the cheeks. Kunika believes that the incident was quite old and was deliberately released in the media because the rivals of Udit Narayan didn’t wanted him to receive the Padma Bhushan award which was in talks for some time.
